The Sajni Center: Journaling Through Grief
This support group will meet monthly to explore writing as a healing resource for parents and older siblings who have lost a child or sibling. We will use Lexi Behrndt’s book, “On Coming Alive: Journaling Through Grief,” a 100-prompt writing journal aimed at guiding you through the darkness that often accompanies grief. Featuring inspiring quotes from writers, and other visionaries paired with open-ended questions and prompts, with plenty of room for writing and reflecting. This journal is the perfect companion to guide you through the complexities of grief. This is an informal group, and no writing experience is required. We will supply each participant with a free copy of “On Coming Alive”.
All activities at the Sajni Center are limited to children with cancer or life-threatening illnesses and their immediate family (parents, siblings, legal guardians). You will need a special code to sign up for this event at the link below; please go to lucyslovebus.org/sajnicode to fill out a form to receive the code in an email if you are an eligible family.
