On Belay and Lucy’s Love bus invite young people undergoing cancer treatment or in remission* and their siblings to join us at MetroRock Climbing Gym in Newburyport, MA for an indoor climbing experience! Similar to other On Belay programs, we will be providing opportunities to top rope, boulder, and explore a beautiful new climbing gym. This program is provided to participants for free because the generous support of donors. In order to sign up for this program the following requirements must be met: 1. Children must have a sibling undergoing cancer treatment or in remission to participant in this program. 2. Participants must be 8-18 years old. Siblings, 6-20 years of age, are eligible. Both cancer patients and their siblings are encouraged to sign up!! A therapeutic recreation organization called Northeast Passage will help accommodate an adaptive needs related to cancer treatment.
