Kerry Powlovich (she/her/hers), Children's Programs Manager
Kerry joined Lucy’s Love Bus in 2019 as the Administrative Assistant, and her ability to naturally connect with Love Bus families combined with her exceptional attention to detail led to her current role in program management. She helps connect our “Love Bus Children” to integrative therapies of their choosing and manages our group programs in person and online. Kerry is a fan favorite in the Love Bus community, always bringing a smile, compassion, and empathy to her role.
Growing up in Amesbury, MA, Kerry had the pleasure of getting to know Lucy when Lucy was a small child. She met Lucy’s mom and Love Bus co-founder, Beecher Grogan, when they worked at The Flatbread Company. After losing her own mother to cancer and moving back to the east coast, Kerry knew there was more she could do to help others who also have experienced cancer within their families. She reconnected with Beecher outside of Brewery Silvaticus after moving back to Amesbury, and the rest is history.
Kerry lives in southern Maine with her husband, Pete, and their two rescue dogs, Leonidas and Betty White, who keep them on their toes daily! A history fiend with a degree from Salem State University, Kerry serves as a site supervisor twice a month at the Industrial History Center in Amesbury to get her history fix.
