Stephanie Moran (she/her/hers), Director of Development

Stephanie joined Lucy’s Love Bus in 2021 in the role of Director of Development. Stephanie’s day-to-day tasks range from writing a grant proposal, to writing social media copy; planning a fundraising event, to planning a digital marketing campaign. She’s spent her career working for small, entrepreneurial-minded businesses, so she’s become accustomed to working on a lean team, and helping wherever she can to get the job done. She brings with her years of experience in business and relationship development, with a focus on marketing and event management.

Like Lucy, Stephanie grew up in Amesbury, MA. As a teenager, her best friend was Lucy’s babysitter, and she had the honor of meeting Lucy when she was a small child. When Stephanie moved back to Massachusetts from Washington DC, she was looking for a new job that gave her a sense of belonging and purpose. The Director of Development position opened up at Lucy’s Love Bus, and she knew that this was the position she had been looking for!

Stephanie lives on the North Shore with her boys, Theo and Bentley (4-legged), and her loving and supportive husband, Nikhil. As an outdoor enthusiast, she loves living back by the beach and the mountains, where she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, swimming, paddle boarding... really, any outdoor activity!

Q&A with Stephanie:
Q: What’s your favorite integrative therapy to practice?
A:
Growing up, I loved horseback riding. Horses are amazing creatures; so intuitive. As an adult, I really enjoy yoga. It’s a therapy that allows me to slow down and focus inward - both of which I find difficult to make time for, as I'm always on the move and my mind is always racing.

Q: What’s something people might not know about you?
A:
I’m 5’1” in stature, but I have a taller personality!
